The Municipality Enterprise (ME) “Social enterprise for people with disabilities”- Plovdiv is created in 2018 during the project for creating new social enterprise in the local Municipality for the Operative Program “Development of Human Resources” 2014-2020. After completing the project with decision of the Municipality Council – Plovdiv, the Social Enterprise continued to function as a ME. In 2020 the enterprise is written in the Registry for social enterprises of the Republic of Bulgaria.

The purpose of the enterprise is to have an impact on the lives of people with disabilities by improving their integration into society, their lifestyle and quality of life. For employees with disabilities in the social enterprise, conditions have been created for the successful realization of their work and creative potential, thus giving them the opportunity to contribute to the development of the economy of their city and country.
